I welcome you into the new month, so listen up young Nigerians!!!

Being alive in itself is an indication that we are not done yet! Whatever assignment we have been commissioned to fulfill, the availability of breath suggests we have been given another chance to have a go at it, no matter what level we currently are.

There is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, it will sprout again at the scent of water.

As you must have heard severally, half-time is considered a time for assessment, measurement, and self-appraisal. The goal is not to wallow in the regrets of what could have-should have-would have been, but to use the rear-view mirror to evaluate the effects of decisions (or the lack of them) that were taken in the first half so as to put measures in place to correct, reinforce or abandon such actions

But what are you doing?

I hope you have not started the month the way most people do.

That is, just starting it without setting any clear goals and plans.

See…

One of the major reasons why people fail is that they do not have clear goals.

That is followed by the fact that they do not have clear plans on how to accomplish those goals.

And also NOT taking action on those plans.

But it all starts from…

NOT Having clear goals.

1. Have clear goals.

2. Have clear plans on how you intend to achieve those goals.

3. Start taking massive action on those plans.

I know you have probably heard this before.

But it is my responsibility to remind you.

We all need reminders.

Heck!

I am actually reminding myself.

So, if you are yet to set clear goals for this month…

STOP what you are doing right now.

Pick a pen and paper.

And set your goals right now.

Make it simple.

Just set goals in 4 areas of your life.

(1) What do you want to achieve financially?

E.g. Make 50 sales of a particular product.

(2) What do you want to achieve health wise?

E.g. Drop 4 kg of excess weight.

(3) What do you want to achieve in terms of self development?

E.g. read 3 books

(4) What do you want to achieve in terms of your relationships?

E.g. Call your mom everyday this month

See…

These are just examples but I hope you got the idea.

Once you have the goals written, make sure you write out how you plan to achieve them.

E.g.

If your goal is to sell 50 copies of a product, then how do you intend to do so?

Be very clear about this.

Alright?

I have to go now, so the question is…what are your July goals and how do you plan on having then?

Food for thought, but all in alll…May July be good to us all

Enjoy

You see, when people lose their jobs, it is almost like hell for them because of 2 reasons:

1. It is a tough world out there when it comes to getting another job

2. Most people have no idea about what they can do to make money. The
only way to make money they have been taught is to look for a job

Now, don‟t get me wrong.

Getting a job is not a bad thing.
We need people to work at jobs for an economy to run smoothly.

We need
lawyers, doctors, journalists, drivers, policemen, teachers etc. for an
economy to work

But if you want to live a life that is void of money worries, you must not
totally depend on a job as your only means of getting money because let‟s
face it

In an economy like that of Nigeria, many employees are not usually
treated very well

Private and public employees are often left to work without pay for up to 4
months

My brother once worked with a famous TV channel and they did not pay him
his salary for the first 4 months. It wasn’t just him

They didn‟t pay the other
junior staff in the company at that time.
..When he asked around, he discovered that it was a normal thing that
happened in the company from time to time

And most of the staff there
couldn’t leave because there is no guarantee of getting another job if they
do

Now imagine such a workplace is forced to close without pay,

Will you and your loved ones be able to survive?

Or, put another way;

How long will you and your loved ones be able to sustain before you run out of money?

You should definitely start looking for another job, though it's going to be hard to find one. You can also learn a skill that won't require you working for an organization

Now that we have identified the problem, let’s understand how we got into the problem in the first place. How did someone of such intelligence fall for a petty scam.

Simple.

She was never taught about business in all of her schooling. There is knowledge dificit in her armour. She has ignorance of business in her camp. Her parents didn’t know about business so they couldn’t teach her. Her teachers, from primary to secondary school, couldn’t teach her. They were employees. Her lecturers were also employed.

So, that is how we got here.

Now we need to re-educate Princess.

She needs to know:

1. Law as it applies to business.
2. Accounting. She needs to know the difference between an asset and a liability. What is an income statement? What is a balance sheet? What is a statement of cash flow?
3. Investing. The science of money making money.
4. And Marketing.

Now that she is in this process, she can proceed to gain experience by building her own system.

Register as a corporate entity. Position her brand as a solution to a problem. Build ladder of value aka sales funnel. Then, master lead generation.

Give our beautiful princess 5 years and she will have built a powerful empire with High Value clients.

That is what I would do too if I was a victim of Ponzi Scheme.

1. Learn a High Income skill.
2. Learn the business of my skill.
3. Learn about my audience and how to market to them in the language of their heart.
4. Launch out aggressive value campaigns consistently for 5 years minimum.

Building my business will definitely give me the freedom and lifestyle I want.

If you were the one, what would you do?

There is nothing you can do about that. You just have to stop investing in ponzi schemes.
